Feature changelog

Explore DRMN CMS feature milestones and what they change for everyday screen management.

CMS v1.10

Version link

Find campaigns faster. Update tags in batches.

Organize campaigns with tags. Select multiple screens, media items or campaigns and update their tags together, reducing item-by-item work. You can also request an update check for a supported Android player from the console.

  • Tags for campaigns: organize by product launch, season or brand. Tags remain when a campaign gets a new version.
  • Update tags in bulk: select multiple screens, media items or campaigns and add or remove tags together.
  • Request an update check for an individual Android player from its screen page, and view its version and check result.
  • Remote updates require a supported player and device-management setup. Devices without automatic installation support still need on-site handling.

CMS v1.9

More screens. Less searching and sorting.

Reach tag management directly, filter screens by orientation, and switch between cards and a list. Spend more time arranging content and less time finding what you need.

  • Manage tags in one place: search, rename and merge.
  • Filter landscape and portrait screens to find the displays you need.
  • Switch between cards and a list to suit your daily task.

CMS v1.6

A clearer screen overview. Easier content selection.

Online and offline groups, location filters and tags help schedulers find the screens and content that need attention.

  • Separate online and offline groups, with long-offline screens collapsible.
  • Tag screens and media for easier selection when arranging campaigns.
  • Remove unused screens in bulk while retaining their playback history.

CMS v1.5

Bring screens at one location into step.

Group screens at the same location for coordinated playback of supported playlist campaigns, instead of each display running independently.

  • Manage sync groups by location and check screen support.
  • Review warnings when a campaign targets only part of a group.
  • Requires players with sync support; currently applies to playlist campaigns.

CMS v1.4

Two content layouts. One campaign to maintain.

Arrange landscape and portrait content in one campaign, sharing dates and target locations to reduce duplicate maintenance.

  • Schedule landscape and portrait content separately within a campaign.
  • Select the matching version by screen orientation and review before publication.
  • Prepare each layout separately; fallback content may play with letterboxing.

CMS v1.2

Less abrupt volume changes between videos.

Video volume adjustment and campaign download progress help stores prepare content and see whether media is ready.

  • Adjustment depends on media analysis and player support; some devices only reduce louder audio.
  • Check campaign media download progress on the screen page.
  • Filter playback reports by campaign version for easier checking.

CMS v1.1

Request a player restart from the console.

Restart supported players remotely, reducing the need to visit each device for routine handling.

  • Request a restart for a supported player from its screen page.
  • The player must be connected; availability depends on device support.
